Regardless of what one may be trying to accomplish (such as lose weight, etc.) it is vital that one’s nutritional considerations come first.

Mechanically counting calories at best lead only to temporary weight control. On a whole foods only diet, one’s ideal weight and body shape can be far more easily maintained. Because you are what you eat, consume only wholesome, natural, mostly raw food, super foods, and supplements! Avocados, raw nuts, and seed for example, may be high in calories, but they are also very filling, high in fiber, and contain many other numerous vital and essential health and metabolism promoting substances. They would therefore influence weight only minimally if at all. Sugar, carbs, processed food, high fructose corn syrup, and hormones in meat are the real culprits in obesity.

Use raw fruits, vegetables, super foods, antioxidants, dietary supplements, herbs, and electrolyzed water to effectively help one find optimal health. Natural remedies are more and more accepted in mainstream medicine as an essential part of healing. Use these remedies as vital tools for one’s spiritual, mental and physical wholeness. Herbs have been used for thousands of years to cure all sorts of diseases. Herbs have many other uses too. Available today is a huge, searchable database of herbal information resources.

Because you are what you eat, obviously you need to recognize and avoid all the junk food out there.

It is therefore up to you to become as informed as possible what is junk and what is not. This information, although freely given, is offered “as is” with no guarantee of safety and effectiveness, and can work no better than the quality of the products you choose to integrate into your diet. However, with this information one can gain and enjoy utterly fantastic levels of health, healing, and well-being. Even a greater access to spiritual wholeness is possible.

You are not only what you eat, but also what you drink.

The best and most basic thing one needs to consider doing first is to always drink plenty of water. I enjoy various kinds of water such as home distilled water, bottled water, ionized water and pure drinking water with electrolytes. It depends on what sort of water the body seems to require at the time of consuming it. My favorite is home distilled water combined with electrolytes calcium, chlorine, potassium, and sodium. I distill my own water at home using an inexpensive water distiller. I later add a delicious tasting commercially available, sugar-free, electrolyte formula to it. Electrolytes can extend the fasting benefits considerably. However, I only add them toward the end of the daily water fast when I need them the most.

It depends on the circumstances, availability, etc. exactly what type of water to drink.

I always start off with my home-made distilled water because of its powerful cleansing properties. I recommend heating it up during the cooler months, otherwise one may tend not to drink as much. Distilled water has the ability to flush out toxins, excess calcium deposits, and certain metals that don’t belong in the body. During daily water fasts I drink at least one and a half liters to a half a gallon. Then I add electrolytes if I want to extend the fast even further. Doing this indeed feels great!

It depends on your age, weight, body size, etc. how long you need to fast and how much you would drink. I always fast between meals instead of snacking on junk food or other miscellaneous stuff. I would never add fruit juices to it, or anything similar with natural or artificial sugar in it. Adding beverages of any kind to the water would defeat the purpose of fasting on water in the first place.

Regular flushing between wholesome meals could help one overcome depression, tiredness and even anxiety.

Doing this one thing has always been the single most effective way that I have ever discovered to enjoy many great benefits all over. Why? If not enough water is drunk on a daily basis, toxins from what is consumed, toxins from metabolic wastes, and toxins from other sources can and do accumulate causing all manner of problems. In many cases, it is mainly toxins that are the cause of so many mental and emotional problems, not just nutritional, mineral and/or vitamin deficiencies. Also a healthy microbiome is required for good mental health otherwise the immune system can start attacking the brain, nerves, joints, spine, and other vital organs of the body.

Don’t ignore the significance of vitamins, antioxidants, super food powders, and herbal supplements!

The list of herbs and supplements I use may appear rather lengthy, however, in no way do I use them all at once. I don’t avoid using because their life-extending, anti-depressant, and healing powers are tremendous. One looking to improve one’s overall health and avoid illness needs to learn all one can regarding vitamins, antioxidants, super food powders, and herbal supplements. From that information, select the best for one’s particular needs.

Of course, like anything else, use caution with supplements.

You could actually feel worse, not better if too much of the wrong herb or vitamin is taken. The supplements may require a significant investment to get started. Always choose among these first before trying any single or isolated vitamin, mineral, herbal extract, or chemical substance. This diet is not designed merely to please the senses, it is meant to completely fulfill all nutritional needs and far beyond, so that one’s soul, or happiness is completely satisfied. Supplying exactly what the mind, body and soul needs is far more important, wise and sensible than eating just to please the senses. Life is actually much, much more fun and fulfilling this way.

Because you are what you eat, you need to eat extremely high quality nutrition and regularly remove all the toxins with loads of water.

In conclusion, there is no way the body can somehow manufacture healthy tissue from horrible, poor-quality scraps. One also needs to flush out their system between meals instead of snacking on junk. There are far too many toxins in our food and environment now. We therefore need to clean out our bodies between every meal with loads of pure clean water. The good thing about living as heathy as possible are all the illnesses, dental and medical costs that one would most likely be able to avoid.

Knowing that you are what you eat, never make the common mistake of snacking on empty calories. So much inconvenience, expense, pain and suffering prevented! I can tell you this is a fact because I have definitely been able to avoid several decades of of what could otherwise have been high medical, psychiatric and dental costs, suffering, etc. by following this path. Increased libido, rejuvenation, younger looking skin, and greatly enhanced well-being are the main side-effects.
