“Master, which is the great commandment in the law?”
Jesus said unto him, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 22:36-40)
No one can really afford to be as confused as this. When one can’t tell the difference (discriminate) between what is truly spiritual and what is actually sensual and materialistic that person is destined for a rough road (time) ahead.
Humanity’s rough road ahead is filled with multiple hazards and potential calamities. Too many individuals (often the young, wealthy and influential) think they came to this Earth just to have frivolous fun, entertainment, lots of sex with as many partners as possible, and to see how much they can mess around and what they can get away with at the cost of other’s lives, environment, health and well-being only for the benefit of themselves.
Those who are truly lucky often fail to realize just how rare of an opportunity this “luck” of good genes and good fortune really is! The behaviors of hedonistic corruption and sensual selfishness among the fortunate is not only immoral but destructive to the harmony of civilization as a whole and to the kingdom of nature. Too many individuals would rather follow their biological and selfish instincts than the path of wholeness which on the long run is vastly easier to follow than the path of sensuality and selfishness.
One’s future need not be determined by a psychic or a prophet. Simply look into exactly how one treats and regards others and that would be one’s destiny. One can do whatever one wants in this “democratic” universe but one has to pay for it and what is dangerous is that at first or on the surface, it may seem so easy to get away with anything. So tempting is it for the spritually ingnorant in a high position to take advantage of others!
Do NOT ignore God! Earth is no place to fool around! Far too much sacrifice and eons of time and effort has lead to your existence! To think it is some sort of playground of the senses where one can do whatever whim and fancy desire entails while ignoring the needs of others is absolutely the most widespread and dangerous fallacy. To think all one simply has to do is steal a couple million or billion dollars from another’s labor to live in a mansion somewhere is in for a shock, because any such home is built on crumbling dirt rather than the diamond bedrock of Spirit.
John Titor, the alleged time traveler from 2036 recalled a great nuclear holocaust that began in 2011 and ended in 2015 eliminating one third of the world’s population including 100 million Americans. Even though one could perhaps brush off this truly frightening scenario as being someone just pulling a hoax, how can anyone know for sure that there could yet be another world war just around the corner? What if American society and economy falls apart to such an extent that American defenses could weaken and become vulnerable to attack from other forces such as China, Mideast or Russia?
Because there seem to be parallel universes or parallel time-lines it is not possible even if one actually had come back from the future to accurately predict future events. The very intrusion into our time by one from a future time would cause immediate changes in our time-line that could easily cause a very different outcome as the determination of future events all lie in a very delicate balance.
Physicists have concluded there must be more than just four dimensions, leaving us to consider that there is not only past and future but also multiple variations, probabilities and possibilities of how any future event could turn out or even happen in the first place.
The balance is so delicate that it is said that even one’s thoughts and/or prayers can alter the course of a future event. It is vital that everyone think and act more spiritually and more peacefully if there is any hope of circumventing any future World War III or any such truly terrifying tragedy of that magnitude.
This morning I had a dream about the treacherous road ahead that humanity must walk. It was symbolized as a dirt path trying to meander along the edge of an eroding and crumbling hillside. At a certain point as I walked along this very crooked path, it started to cave in and give way symbolizing how my personal life will be affected by millions of other human beings not following the principles of wholeness, and because of their selfish nature is causing the very infrastructure of society to collapse. I barely made it across! My next dream was an apocalyptic vision of a huge structure, a massive building next to or in front of which stood a very tall and thin communications, TV and/or radio tower with a sort of elevator which can go up nearly to the top. It could have been any major city, I don’t know which but the massive building behind that tower was on fire with a huge pillar of smoke going all the way into the cloudy ceiling not too far above the two structures. This event could be some time in the near future or end of 2008 or 2009. I don’t like to make predictions because, most fortunately, the future is never set in stone. I could not help but be reminded by a similar scene from that terrible day of 9-11-01 when the Trade Center towers collapsed. However this was one very massive building and the upper portion, entirely engulfed in smoke and destruction, looked like a billowing smoke stack. It is possible that the terrorist attack of 9-11-01 was helped along by self-serving, corrupt leaders and big business owners in very high places of wealth and influence. I think the 9-11-01 event was far more complicated than just Islamic terrorists trying to bring the U.S. to its knees. It also involved big banking interests who could gain massive profits from insurance companies by having huge properties destroyed by “enemy” forces. The overall effect such incidences terrorist or otherwise (inefficient selfishness) is to erode everyone’s God-given freedoms even more. And then came the war that cost the U.S. so much money and ruined so many lives that the U.S. dollar threatens to become worthless as the U.S. economy and the country itself becomes stuck in a quagmire of debt and inefficiency. War of course is a terrible crisis and made far worse by those who would have no compassion for their enemy. There should never be any wars anyway in the first place because everyone should be putting all their energy into spiritual pursuits, into inward directed research and finding God (fulfillment) through deep inner meditation. Because the real way to master the world is by mastering ourselves, aggression and the need to conquer should be directed inward, never outward at each other! The real riches of life and vast territories of paradise are found deep within the soul and never outside one’s self can real, lasting happiness (wholeness) ever be found. The “spoils” of war is a terrible illusion, for only as long as one lives can they be enjoyed; even Alexander the Great could not take his empire with him when he died at the early age of 32. And where are all the greatest and most terrible dictators of all time now? Why is there such craziness when there could have been so much good? “An eye for an eye would make the whole world blind.” –Mahatma Gandhi A war of vengeance is even worse, because one who fights violence with violence cannot be much better than the first evil doer; one only perpetuates the terrible cycle of violence as it has been happening in the Middle East seemingly forever. One of the most horrible mistakes often committed in war is any unnecessary act of crime, torture or punishment against the enemy or anyone associated with the enemy. If one acts no better than the enemy one is trying to conquer, how stupid is that? Anyone who would rape, pillage and/or murder without cause are the real enemies to humanity and sanity regardless of what side they are on. If after the real perpetrators have been removed and yet the victor would not feed the survivors, give them a better life, free them from desperation and the tyranny they were enslaved by, then what business did the victor have fighting a war in the first place? When there is any sort of selfish motive of great leaders involved, the repercussions can be terrible. Those who have risen to great power and influence are just as much responsible for whatever they do. If they act only on selfish desires and instincts and lead countless lives to destruction and suffering, they will be responsible for all that they cause. Because such people have no knowledge or understanding regarding the massively multiplied effects of their actions on their souls, they are in for a truly horrific time when their physical bodies finally perish. Especially in war, the devastating laws of karma (cause and effect) cannot be ignored! Therefore any wanton act of violence or aggression instigated on a massive scale by any person with huge power and influence will have to undergo terrible suffering for a very long time. Such individuals will not be condemned forever to a “hell.” However these hapless souls will be forced to undergo various trials for a very long time and they will be forced to undo all the miseries they have caused. This fact of life is because such individuals were given the opportunity to serve others on a very massive scale, and instead of compassionately serving others with their power and influence (like Mahatma Gandhi who passionately served humanity) they fell into temptation and brought great tragedy, agony, fear and destruction to countless individuals. Such great dictators as Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler and Saddam Hussein are like unto these hapless souls. They could have helped thousands, even millions of individuals with their powerful abilities, instead they abused the great talents God gave them with the terrible miseries they dumped on countless individuals. “Be not decieved; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh [sensuality and materialism] shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit [put God first] shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are the of the household of faith.” (Galatians 6:7-10) The law of karma is every bit as severe today as it always has been. The terrible mistake of sowing instincts of the flesh, pursuing sexual and material fulfillment instead of love and spiritual fulfillment while forgetting the Life everlasting is so awful that no end of suffering and/or confusion is in store for the ones who are not following their spiritual path. Humanity has habitually ignored these truths for centuries not fully understanding their true essence which is to leave behind the lusts of the flesh and senses and instead “soweth to the Spirit” or seek Spirit within one’s self through daily meditation, loving service to others, and devotion to God. At first this may seem really adverse to one’s wishes, however more joy than ever is the destiny of those who take this principle seriously! “As we have therefore opportunity…” And whenever there is the opportunity to do good, wow! one had better make the most of it! Instead those who would waste such precious opportunities on greed, hate, cruelty, and wanton lust are in for a really horrible time down the road when they reap their just reward(s). This idea has nothing to do with hell or heaven, but their future existences regardless if on Earth or in the afterlife. The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:3-17) A safe, successful society is built on trust, love, wisdom and moral values. The further away society falls from such values, the more chaotic, endangered and disruptive life becomes. The Ten Commandments are designed to encourage moral values, virtue, and character or what I would call real personal assets. The smooth functioning of the world depends on having some sort of code of ethics or moral standards to aim for or go by. The Ten Commandments was this code of ethics created for the ancient Jewish cultures as a guideline for practical day to day living and worshiping. There can only be chaos if there be no values, law, and order in society. True character is based on what one does when no one is looking, and the increasing numbers of those who lack true character are the real reasons why society is falling apart and making it harder and harder for the ones who do have character and high moral standards to survive. Therefore everyone’s real responsibility to the whole society is always to be as kind, beneficial, honest, practical, productive, and spiritual as possible. The original commandments are as follows which according to the Old Testament were introduced to the world by God through the prophet Moses. Even though these laws are created for an ancient world and way of life that hardly exists any more today, there is great common sense in these commandments designed to help maintain a wholesome and happy society and to help keep the Jewish faith pure, intact and ongoing. Happiness, harmony and order ends, and anguish and chaos begins whenever these laws are broken especially in regards to their deeper meaning. There does, in fact, appear to be a much more spiritual meaning behind these laws that most people do not fully appreciate. I will therefore try to explain not only the practical side of these commandments, but also their possible deeper meaning: 1) Thou shalt have no other gods before me. God, the one Reality, cannot have any other truths contradicting it. Putting God first means giving the enjoyment of the inner Intelligence, love and quality of Life within you the first priority. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33) Too many things get in the way of God: our cell phones, ipods, lap tops, flat screen TV’s, all our other possessions, amusements, our egos, our thoughts, etc. That is why meditation is so important: when correctly practiced, we let go of the senses, let go of the world and behold the one true Self, the true nature of our being which is paradise and can lead us to complete mastery over death, then “…all these things shall be added unto you.” 2) Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow thyself down to them nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of those that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Maya, the illusion of separation from wholeness is not to be confused with the Oneness of all which cannot be any graven image, idol or other such thing perceived through the physical senses. God is a living reality within ourselves as Sat, Chit, Ananda: Sat is existence or truth, Chit is consciousness, and Ananda is bliss. It is all too easy to make the sad mistake of creating or placing some sort of facade, religion, ritual, dogma, or idol in place of the real thing! It is too easy to get lost and caught up in the situations and objects (idols) of the external world in place of the inner reality of the one true Self (God) within all conscious, living beings great and small. How many times is one disappointed to find that this or that person, idol, or thing never delivered the happiness that one was expecting? Only real Divine Love from deep within the living waters of God can really fulfill one’s true needs. Materialism’s blinding illusion exists only until one realizes that one is living a lie. As long as the very foundation of one’s life is not based on the ultimate truth of Divine Love within, the “joys” of life remain shadowy, transient, unsteady and insubstantial. And by the way, according to the souls in the afterlife, the sins of the fathers do fall upon the children which may sound unfair, however this does happen as karmic debts first caused by the parents are often taken on by their children. Nevertheless, the universe always reflects back mercy to all innocent children who live consciously in tune with the laws of Spirit. 3) Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. The many sacred name(s) of the Lord of the universe are always to be taken with great seriousness and devotion. Otherwise, no longer sacred is the name that is abused or spoken in a way that is mechanical or contrived. Only when uttered with true love and sincerity can the name of God have power and give positive spiritual transformation. 4) Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor and do all thy work. But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God; in it shall not do any work, thou, nor your son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. To put God first is all-important, and at least one day a week should be devoted to that Energy or Principle of Life that has created you. God is no longer a religion, but a universal aspect of quantum physics. His consort (Holy Spirit or Divine Mother) is the Zero Point Energy or Field that is the underlying Source of all energy and matter in the universe. Goddess is the all-loving and all-embracing Power that sustains you and loves you more than you can comprehend. At the level of spirit, She can come to you in a personal form and embrace you. Our weekends and holidays should all be utilized for the search of truth, deep meditation and union with God(dess). To waste such valuable time on materialistic entertainment and non-transmuted sensuality instead of ecstatic communion with ultimate joy is sad indeed, yet most of us do this! Have a spiritual weekend, not just a “nice” one! God in union with Goddess created the universe in seven stages or levels and the seventh level or heaven is one of perfect rest and happiness. We owe to ourselves to learn how to transcend the physical and become 100% aware of the highest spiritual realms where perfect rest and happiness are really possible. 5) Honor thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. Of course, those who have given you individual life and physical expression need to be honored, loved, and respected. Family life and values are dependent on loving appreciation of parents! How sad indeed are those who love not their real mother and father and vise versa. The foundation of society is the family and is where love begins. How fast would civilization end without this? 6) Thou shalt not kill. No wars could ever be fought any more if only everyone followed this one without compromise! Of course those who think they can murder someone and get away with it are absolutely in serious trouble, first for even having such an inclination, and second, it often means one is deeply mired on a very low level of spiritual development, and third the effects of such an extremely violent action can never be erased from the soul. Of course one’s motive(s) and circumstances determine the extent of the suffering that cannot be escaped from. 7) Thou shalt not commit adultery. A peaceful, happy society depends on a stable family life! The sacred vow of marriage is a spiritual contract of chastity to each other never to be broken. Unfortunately, something has seriously gone wrong here which is usually a result of trying to take too much from each other on a sensual level. The child’s sanity depends all too much on stable parents who sincerely love one another and live together. This business of bouncing around from mate to mate or relationship to relationship denies all sense of value and stability. If everyone’s love-life resembles a roster, it is very sad indeed! How trivial and how temporary love has become, never being allowed to develop into the soul mates that God intended. 8) Thou shalt not steal. It would be impossible to have a civilization if everyone’s motive was simply to take whatever they can from everyone else. 9) Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. Dishonesty helps to create a world that is impossible to live in. 10) Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shall not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbour’s. It would be an extremely unpleasant world if all everyone did was try to acquire everyone else’s spouses, servants, animals, goods, iMacs, and fuel-efficient hybrid vehicles, etc! (Exodus 20:3-17) Much virtue and decency depends on keeping to laws like these, and the more deeply understood and valued, the more one can benefit. For society to know wholeness and for America to remain a great and united nation (“One nation under God”) such commandments as these are essential for everyone. “Do Unto Others As You Would Have Others Do Unto You” The supreme commandment quoted by Christ at the beginning of this page is to love God (the Supreme “I Am” Presence) and God (consciousness) in each other. Christ attempted to simplify and transform humanity’s understanding of God’s law into an even more spiritually significant context. Christ exemplified what is known as the “Golden Rule” which simplifies one’s code of ethics dramatically making it all very much esier to understand, appreciate and follow through with: “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.” Ultimately everyone’s destiny lies in how they regard and treat others. Such regard is also the destiny or outcome of everyone in the entire world. Think about that for a while. The world in general seems to have the wrong attitude: which is get whatever one can from others regardless of the difficulties and/or costs that others must bear. Tragically this tendency is so ingrained in human nature and so widespread that it is universally accepted behavior! However, lack of character and lack of honesty never pays for itself over the long run. The “logic” of a thief is seriously flawed. Overall the quality of many people’s lives is ruined: many lose and the only one who “gains” is eventually caught and prosecuted, or some such severe punishment inevitably catches up with this most unfortunate predator who’s belief system of utter separation from God and others, and the resulting sense of hopeless loneliness creates its own self-annihilating effect. The end result of evil: no one wins, everyone loses. If everyone would just see this, that what one puts out is what one gets back, and fully know and feel the full extent of the consequences of one’s intentions, then very little policing would ever be needed. It is indeed a tragedy that these truths are not required curriculum. The selfish tendencies of human nature create a vacuum of available talent, love and service for others so badly needed in so many places. Life in general is harder because of this universal selfishness, and as a result of it, fewer people actually benefit while more and more have to face suffering and poverty. An artificial vacuum of all that which is loving, good and kind is created. What is good becomes much scarcer than it needs to be! The very atmosphere of the world suffers, and etherically it becomes mired in a dark, depressing fog. Our lives are made so much more complicated, expensive, and difficult because of the continuing presence of those who are dangerously dishonest and arrogantly selfish. Just one of countless examples: how many times does one have to fumble for keys and remember certain alarm system codes just to enter one’s own home or office? How much of one’s tax dollars goes to law enforcement? How many innocent people have been prosecuted? How many lives have been ruined by corrupt government officials? How many times has one been too afraid to go out at night just to enjoy a few moments of peace, quietude and some fresh air? Then a poor soul tries to find distraction on the internet from so many problems only to get his identity stolen through a bogus e-mail and/or website. What a hell has just a few crooked people created for us all! In the world of evil there are, in the end, no winners, only losers! Only within those who have been most wise and benevolent is there cause for a grand future. An everlasting itinerary of great opportunity, love, and the transcendent spheres of paradise await those who have been honestly and lovingly serving others all along. Global WarNing – A Message to Humanity Humanity’s present momentum of continuous growth in urban sprawl and population cannot be sustained without seriously destroying Earth’s most vital resources. For every square mile of heavily populated urban land, there needs to be at least fifty-five square miles of clean farmland and unspoiled wilderness area to support it. While the oceans are being filled with toxic pollutants and vast amounts of trash, many species of fish and whales are constantly being threatened. The more people living a high-resource consumption lifestyle, the more species of vital plants, trees and animals will become extinct. Too much Co2 and the further release of methane into the atmosphere could unfortunately roll out an unstoppable, runaway greenhouse effect causing all manner of dreadful catastrophes throughout the world. When it gets too hot for most people around the world to grow food, civilization is bound to collapse. Read the book for incredible stories and some amazing solutions. |
“Global Warning – A Message to Humanity” Humans Face a Challenge SO HUGE It’s Often Incomprehensible To Far Too Many People! The global and ecological consequences of overconsumption and uncontrolled population growth are simply overwhelming. Humans are consuming vital resources while trashing the world, and this madness has to stop! HUMANS ARE CONSUMING VITAL RESOURCES WHILE TRASHING THE WORLD, AND THIS MADNESS HAS TO STOP! Humanity’s present momentum of continuous growth in urban sprawl and population cannot be sustained without seriously destroying some of the earth’s most vital resources. For every square mile of heavily populated urban land, there needs to be at least fifty-five square miles of clean farmland and unspoiled wilderness area to support it. While the oceans are being filled with toxic pollutants and vast amounts of trash, many species of fish and whales are constantly being threatened. The more people there are living or trying to live in a high-resource consumption lifestyle, the more species of vital plants, trees and animals will become extinct. Unless humans move off the planet to other worlds, mine asteroids, etc. or immediately stop increasing their vast numbers, economic growth on Earth is no longer sustainable. There will soon be global shortages of all manner essential things such as fuel, minerals, clean water, food, housing, and even clean air if nothing is done to immediately stem population growth. Like the lemmings running off the face of a cliff, I see the same thing happening with human populations exploding around the world. Before we know it, billions of children will be born without food, clothing, shelter, or any sort of clean water to drink. Sanitary conditions will become worse and worse, as more and more communities are cluttered with children searching garbage dumps for food and fragments from which to build huts from. The most dreadful and alarming fact of all the consequences is what is bound to happen when sheer numbers of people create even more sheer numbers who in turn create even vaster numbers. We have in essence a runaway catastrophic population explosion scenario that could potentially wipe out nearly every species and ecosystem on the planet.
