The following article is a Science of Wholeness book review: Author Sheryl Hill puts forth an intriguing dialogue about conscious awakening that soothes grief. It’s a sad story with a happier new beginning. She has a poetic style and her short section approach to writing in Walking on Sunshine, NRG is an enjoyable, easy read.

Her sixteen year old son, Tyler Hill, died on a People to People student travel trip to Japan. Beautiful kid, sixteen years old. He was athletic, smart, funny and big-hearted. (Some information is available on www.tylerhill.org. I had to copy and paste some of the URLs. Tragic.)
Tyler is a very high soul. He connected with his mom and his little brother when his heart stopped, and again when his brain was dying, and since. A book Tyler left on his bed fell on the floor many times, on its own, opening to pages about how the energy in our bodies is transformed into orbs – soul light bodies. Sheryl writes that she doubted the book, until wondrous orbs started manifesting around her and her family and friends, with messages inside. She includes many black and white photos in the book. From her author site and facebook you can see albums with color photographs. Her website and story have a high energy feel. A doctor told her his dying patients see an iridescent rainbow that fills the room with a bright peaceful sun beneath just before they pass. One of her photos captures the essence of that experience. Hospice providers use the photo to calm and palliate their dying patients. As Tyler’s mom starts making the connection, opening her mind to realities beyond this realm, she experiences conscious awakening and out of body experiences and information from Tyler about how he died, where he is and what her greater purpose is. She shares her experience in her voice, an expressive and easy conversation. She writes that her experiences challenged her traditional religious beliefs explaining the Old Testament says people who talk to the dead should be put to death. Until, she has a remarkable vision during a calm meditation. A vision of the last supper. Christ (Yeshua) spoke to the disciples after he died. He is alive in the light. No one refers to the disciples as spiritists or mediums. Her son, Tyler, is alive in the light. She did not lose him. She knows where it is. Synchronicity, the 11:11 phenomenon, and parallel timing of events occur around her. The CEO of the student travel company issued a press release about Tyler’s death on her birthday. A striking portrait of Tyler with President Eisenhower arrived on November eleventh, Veterans day. (11/11) Tyler’s phone did not have service but it rang anyway on holidays, birthdays and anniversaries. And more. |
Walking on Sunshine NRG also briefly mentions a therapy called EMDR that is often helpful for people suffering from PTSD – post trauma stress disorder. Llicensed psychologists are using EMDR to soothe grief with IADC – instigated after death communications. (Communities of Interest on www.walkingonsunshine.org ) Psychologist’s report that the outcome, talking to someone who has passed, brings comfort and closure and that is why its valuable, to the patient.
Proceeds from Walking on Sunshine, NRG benefit her higher calling. She and Tyler’s dad, Allen, are founders of ClearCause Foundation, www.clearcausefoundation.org. ClearCause launched on D-Day, the anniversary of Tyler’s birthday.
There is a connection between the title of the book and the story. You’ll have to buy the book to find out.
