Avoid Years of Suffering, Serious Mistakes!

Starting around the early to late 1970's I painfully learned many hard lessons throughout this long lifetime of trials, errors and tribulations while trying to find the most healthy and correct diet. Many mistakes are possible especially if one expects amazing health benefits from simply trying to eat only raw vegetarian food. Because of the complexity of the human body, ability to absorb nutrients, individual needs, stress and pollution, it is no longer as simple as it was once thought to eat only 100% raw and 100% vegetarian. Too many minerals are now missing from depleted soils, and most commercially available food is quite old and very much reduced in life energy by the time it has been packed, shipped to the store, stocked on the shelf for a period of time and then finally bought by the consumer who in turn stores it in the refrigerator!

All dietary studies of the healthiest ancient cultures are in fact mainly vegetarian, and are mostly raw food, however, a great deal of animal products such as shell fish, fish, raw butter and raw milk from pasture grazed cows, goats, etc. have always been present. Please go here to learn more about how certain ancient cultures not only were free of all the common physical and mental complaints and ailments so often suffered by everyone today, but were also completely free of dental caries.

From all that I have learned (unfortunately the hard way when first starting out over thirty years ago) some of the most dangerous and costly mistakes commonly made by anyone trying to eat healthy by going 100% raw vegetarian are:

1) Low or improper intake and absorption of minerals, trace elements and their cofactors, especially calcium, magnesium, B12, K2, A, E, and vitamin D, which should all be at least four times the amount considered to be the minimum daily requirement.

2) Inefficient intake of vitally needed high quality protein, phosphorous and essential oils. (Try to include cooked or raw, grass-fed, free-range, organic eggs, sardines, nutritional yeast, chlorella, spirulina, and pine pollen in one's diet.)

Along with degeneration of the immune system, physical strength, digestion and other physical problems, what also happens when the above two things are ignored is that dental caries and eventually bone loss becomes rampant throughout the rest of one's life. Once the body has been on a course of many years of inadequate intake and/or absorption of vital mineral rich, and protein rich foods, it can take many months of careful nutritional supplementation to change that course before osteoporotic bones become less brittle and rotted teeth start to regenerate. Calcium and all other minerals, trace elements, plus oil soluble vitamins K2, A, E, and vitamin D, etc. are always needed throughout one's entire life. Most diseases are caused by a long term lack of these minerals, vitamins, high quality complete proteins, raw foods and antioxidants.



Raw Food Definitely Has Beneficial Effects, However, It is only Part of the Answer

Way back in the spring of the year 2000, a significant amount of healing (including a certain amount of relief from depression and anxiety) occurred as soon as I committed myself fully to a living and raw whole foods lifestyle. I experienced a massive cleansing and improvement in all areas of my health and life. I avoided all cooked, processed, refined, devitalized, and commercialized "food" products. Fresh fruit, raw vegetables, raw oats, fresh ginger, kelp, avocados, flax seed, spiralina, Chlorella, a wide assortment of healing, healthy herbs and antioxidants satisfied me emotionally and spiritually many times more than any cooked, processed, refined, and very addicting commercialized "food" ever could. The "foods" I see most people eat are scary compared to the superior fulfillments of balanced whole food nutrition. What one eats and does not eat definitely affects one's emotions and consciousness. However going 100% raw did not solve all my problems, in fact I seemed to be doing nothing but grinding my food all day and something vital still seemed missing. Like I said above, whole raw food is an essential part of the answer to better health, but is only a part of the answer. USE A VITA-MIXER - To get more nourishment out of your raw food diet, you may find the use of a Vita-Mixer to be a tremendous advantage. Obtaining and using a blender could be slightly less effective, but also less expensive. THE RAW FOOD DIET - Please use only organically grown raw food and herbs. Not only are you helping to protect your own health from artificial toxins, you are also helping to support organic, earth-friendly, sustainable agriculture that does not wear down soil. There is a huge variety of raw food to choose from. For some ideas, you might try raw ground sesame seed, freshly ground raw flax seed, soaked raw pumpkin and raw sunflower seed, soaked raw peanuts, spiralina, chlorella, bee pollen, finely ground raw whole oats, fresh ginger root, pineapple, coconut, blueberries, blackberries, oranges, avocados, parsley, fennel, lettuce, spinach, beets, carrots, red onions (high in quercetin), bell peppers and jalapeo peppers (use with care - HOT!) in your "wholeness" diet. Raw nuts and seed are most easily digested if blended with some ionized water and juice from raw pineapple, oranges, and some ginger root.

BENEFITS OF ALKALINE WATER - I enjoy great benefits from going on daily fasts with loads of the BEST TASTING water ever--negatively ionized, alkaline water. I also add to all my Vita-mixed juices. All foods for wholeness, especially flax and other types of seed, nuts, ginger, jalapeo peppers, and all other spices contain important healing substances that cannot or should not be isolated or concentrated into one or two compounds such as oils, sugars, drugs, etc. The closer to nature's original condition and form, the greater the benefit and safety. Whole, raw, natural food is always far superior to any of its more potentially hazardous separate components. The whole food usually tends to be of far greater benefit than the sum of its separate parts.

For your protection against rancidity and spoilage, store all dry ground herbs, bee pollen, nuts and seed etc. in the freezer. However, bee pollen can just be refrigerated while being used. I avoid all vegetable oils, especially purified, processed, bleached, and hydrogenated vegetable oils (trans-fatty acids). Vegetable oil is not a whole food, but only the expulsion of what was originally a whole food. However, the refrigerated, raw, cold-pressed, golden oil from flaxseed and virgin , cold-pressed green olive oil can still be very healthy, so I still use flax oil and olive oil. The least expensive source for essential fatty acids, lignins and fiber is freshly ground, whole flax seed.

Most nuts and seed tend to be high in harmful lectins and other toxins and anti-nutrients. Peanuts ae the WORST of all--best to avoid them entirely. However almonds tend to have the fewest lectins. It is best to soak nuts and seed in water for 2-3 days before consuming them. Rinse thoroughly and replace water twice daily. Soaking nuts and seed helps to deactivate enzyme inhibitors and reduce the lectins naturally present in dry nuts and seed, while activating plant growth hormones and many vital enzymes involved in the initiation of a plant's life. However, one should still eat them in moderation or no more than 1/2 cup a day (amount before soaking).

EGGS, in my opinion, are a whole food containing vital biological components for hormones, cell renewal, and overall healing and well-being. Use fertile or "range free" FRESH eggs from the refrigerated section of your health food store. CHECK ODOR BEFORE USING THEM! Dispose of any single egg smells even slightly off. I am well aware of the dangers of eating RAW EGGS and certain other raw foods. I would OBJECT to eating raw meat, fish, shellfish, etc. anyway, but have benefited from eating raw eggs. Certain spiritual paths forbid the eating of eggs, and especially red meat because their influence is not as positive as that from pure plant nutrition. It may be because animal products tend to contain medicines, hormones and more pollutants.

HERBS AND VITAMINS - My favorite and most frequently used antioxidant vitamin and herbal supplements are: CQ10, Grape seed Extract, B-complex, Dry (oil free) Vitamin E, Ester C, Minerals, Microhydrin (from Royal Body Care), Chlorella, Korean Ginseng, Kotu Kola, Ginkgo, Kava Kava, Saw Palmetto Berries, Schisandra Fruit, Cayenne Pepper, Cinnamon, Turmeric, Garlic, etc. I also would make my own and use colloidal silver if I feel a cold or any other sort of infection coming on (which is almost never). There are also raw food products available that contain various amounts of multiple herbs, probiotics, etc. in one convenient, inexpensive protein formula such as: Garden of Life's Perfect Food for example.


Acai Berry Scams You Want To Avoid

Are you sick of hearing or reading about scams involving the acai berry? It makes it tough to get excited about taking this amazing health supplement when you realize people are getting scammed over it all the time. Instead, go for reasonable ads that make reasonable claims, regardless of what the product is. This is especially true for acai berry products because, while it does amazing things, it doesn't do outrageous things and you have to know that before buying it.

Always Avoid High Pressure Sales Tactics - Does the website use high pressure sales tactics to sell its product? If so, you need to realize that they are trying too hard. The acai berry extract can naturally sell itself without high pressure sales tactics. Know what the Acai berry really does and what it doesn't do before going out and purchasing the product. Buy a product that informs you of the acai berry extract, educates you on what it does and allows the product to basically sell itself--without high pressure tactics.
