LESSON #11: A SPIRITUAL BREAK-THROUGH WITH CAYENNE PEPPER
CAUTION: Cayenne pepper can be uncomfortably hot if too much is used! NEVER OVERDOSE on Cayenne. There is no need for this, it is so powerful, but it works for your benefit only in combination with all the other factors for wholeness. Ginger is a milder alternative somewhat similar to cayenne.
11.1: CAYENNE PEPPER HAS MANY APPLICATIONS: There is a whole book on cayenne pepper titled CAPSICUM by Dr. John R. Christopher--a famous traditional herbalist and health practitioner. There are many varieties and beneficial uses for this extremely valuable, yet widely misunderstood herb. Because it is extremely hot people tend to think of it as being potentially harmful or dangerous. However, if used correctly, and in smaller quantities at first to allow for body to get accustomed to it, it can have far-ranging health benefits and, according to Dr. Christopher, who used it extensively for a wide variety of ailments, including heart attacks, ulcers, backaches, circulation disorders, frostbite, etc., it's absolutely harmless.

11.2: CAYENNE CAN BE USED TO CLEAR CIRCULATORY SYSTEM AND FIGHT DEPRESSION, ANXIETY, AND FATIGUE: I use Solaray's "Cayenne" pepper capsules (capsicum frutescens), 40000 heat unit, 515 mg. each. Capsicum or cayenne pepper has a powerful vasodilation, arterial and blood vessel clearing effect so that oxygen and nutrients can more fully and efficiently feed vital tissues resulting in increased metabolic efficiency. 11.3: PEPPER IGNITES INFERNO OF KUNDALINI BLISS CREATING AWESOME ECSTASIES: Cayenne pepper, when combined with water fasting, becomes effective for cleansing entire cardiovascular system and seems to expand circulation into all the vital glands and nerves of the cerebrospinal system with pleasant aphrodisiac effects. And when further combined with the breathing exercises and all the other essential factors discussed in previous lessons, transmutation is so greatly enhanced, that the Kundalini energy becomes a vast flame of great bliss and wonderful love. When concentrating in the third eye, one can even see one's self lighting up like a fire: delightful flames of intense soul-satisfaction. An expanding, pulsating luminous plasma expands from the region of the third eye into every pore of the skin--a bit like the scripture, "If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light."--(St. MATHEW 6:22) The satisfaction becomes so wholesome, there is nothing on this earth that can compare to it.
11.4: LIVING OFF OF BLISSFUL TRANSMUTATION: Cayenne pepper and fasting on ionized water has been so effective for me personally, that I have been able to live more and more off of spiritual energy (recall Lessons 9.3 - 9.5), ojas or and transmutation of sexual fluids and less and less on physical food while having more energy to accomplish more things. Thus the body is no longer burdened by having to digest so much food, which in itself takes much energy and time. Instead, energy is taken from a higher source and the body is gradually transformed into a clearer channel of spiritual love as more and more body cells are "divinized" or more easly influenced by a higher vibration. Much better than eating at McDonalds, right?

Celibacy & Transmutation of Sexual Energy
Just as humankind has learned to master and control many natural forces in the world, a yogi (or yogini) is a very special (and unfortunately rare) individual who's inclination is to control and master the inner forces of nature, such as thoughts, emotions, cravings, and desires, especially the biological force of sexual energy. The yogi or yogini manages to successfully master his or her emotions and sexual energy not by force, but through purification of brain and body cells and then by absorption of vital prana. The transmutation of sex into inner peace, bliss, joy and love is the wonderful end result. One of the greatest mysteries of life is sex, sexual desire, and sexual energy. However, when sexual energy is lost in the process of reproductive activity, the spiritual life suffers.
11.5: NEEDING FOOD LESS OFTEN SOLVES MANY PROBLEMS: Money is saved because grocery bills are reduced. Time and energy tied up in food preparation, eating and washing dishes could be put to better use. Also dental bills are likely to be reduced or eliminated. If everyone followed the ways of wholeness, dentists, doctors, psychiatrists, the police department, steak and hamburger restaurants, sellers/manufactuers of junk food, and undertakers could go out of business!
Snacking between meals (especially carbohydrates) is a major cause of gingivitis (or gum disease) and tooth decay. I have even better results if I don't snack and avoid even diluted juices, and stick strictly to water and herbs, but it is up to you what you feel is best for you; and then when you do eat, WOW! the food tastes good!!! Life and food is no longer boring! Many great yogis seldom eat and seem to live much longer. As a result of "eating to live" one often ends up having lived long enough to enjoy far more food than anyone bound by their addictions to gluttony and other spiritually diminishing sense pleasures.
11.6: OTHER HERBS CAN ALSO HELP CIRCULATION: There are other herbs and vitamins that have a similar effect as capsicum, (and a few even containing some of the same substances as cayenne) that can improve circulation: butcher's broom, hawthorn berries, ginger root, ginkgo leaf, gentian root, blue vervain and niacin (vitamin B3, not an herb). Cayenne pepper in combination with all the other herbs is bound to create even better results without any increase in the "burning" side effects. Niacin has potent vasodilation effects sometimes causing a great deal of flushing starting in the face and neck and working down the back to the rest of the body depending on how much and under what conditions it is taken. Many circulation herbs are found in cardiovascular formulas often containing some cayenne pepper an a little niacin. Are there certain foods that can also improve the qualitiy of one's blood circulation? It is questions like these that put me on the verge of new discoveries. I recently heard about Natto which is a Japanese healthfood consisting of fermented soybeans containing some remarkable enzymes that improve blood circulation and therefore general, overall health and well-being. It is known to prevent the formation of blood clots and to dissolve those already formed. Flax seed oil (already included in my "diet for wholeness" recipies) and lecithin (phospholipids) are other great circulation boosters in that they help dissolve cholesterol and other fatty deposites in arteries, etc. High fiber, raw food diets are yet more good influences on circulation.
