I know stress can cause digestive problems and poor absorption, but any sort of digestive problem can in and of itself be the cause of much stress, depression, anxiety, confusion and tiredness. Diarrhea is a major factor one should be wary of. It may be good for the digestive system to cleanse itself out occasionally, but nutritional absorption is very poor at this time, thus causing a sensitive brain and nervous system to suffer fatigue and apathy, increased anxiety and depression. A wholesome, balanced diet high in superfoods is essential to help the digestive system and body through a period of stress. Avoid eating the same high protein food or meal over and over again. Rotate your proteins so that you enjoy a different grouping of high protein foods every day of the week. Variety of food eaten is essential otherwise the whole mind-body system can quickly get bored and depressed. Avoid high sugar, concentrated sweet foods such as cookies, dried fruit, dates, and bananas. MOST IMPORTANT - START BY LOADING UP ON MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF FRESH WATER BETWEEN MEALS INSTEAD OF SNACKING: It is vital to make sure one is drinking loads of water (best to use ionized or alkalized water) between meals (at least one quart to half a gallon instead of snacking between every meal depending on age, weight, body size, etc.) The water seems to go down much faster if one adds fruit juices to it such as pure pomegranite, blueberry, cranberry, orange juice, etc. Regular fushing between wholesome meals with large quantities of watered down juices, etc. might be all that one needs to overcome depression, tiredness and even anxiety. Doing this one thing has always been the single most effective way that I have ever discoverd to enjoy many great benefits all over. One feels better right away and continues to improve more and more up to several weeks, even months later using this method. As long as one keeps up with the daily flushing with water, exercising regularly, and eating only wholesome, antioxidant rich superfoods, one may not need to take any extra vitamin or mineral supplements and/or require any further help. Why? If not enough water is drunk on a daily basis, toxins from what is consumed, toxins from metabolic wastes, and toxins from other sources can and do accumulate causing all manner of problems. In most cases, it is mainly toxins that are the cause of so many mental and emotional problems, not always mineral and/or vitamin deficencies. FULL SPECTRUM EATING, CONSUME ALL THE COLORS OF THE RAINBOW: A healthy food recipe could be created by blending a quarter cup of chlorella and a tablespoon of flax seed oil with ionized water, raw fruit (best to use pineapple, blue and blackberries), red onion, fennel, lettuce, beet, and fresh ginger root. Completly thaw out any frozen food first, especially if poor digestion, bloating and gas is, in fact, a problem. Try to keep a full spectrum of colors in your diet, because keeping a full pallet of the deepest colors is a great way to help insure a more healthy, healing diet. 7. 100% WHOLE RAW FOODS CAN BE A POWERFUL HEALING TOOL: Try starting the first meal of the day with a FRESHLY blended mix of at least a quart of as close to what you can of the following recipe: pineapple, tangerine (or orange), dark purple grapes, lettuce, fennel and/or kale, broccoli sprouts, and fresh, whole ginger root. Having this large amount daily of freshly made juice (tastes and works best when fresh) is a key factor in staying free of depression, reducing anxiety, having more energy, feeling more uplifted, and simply feeling and looking healthier, younger, and more vital, period. Since one needs some way to either juice, blend or eat one to two quarts daily of so much "plant material" all this would be most easily accomplished using a Vita-Mixer. Like anything, too much of even an excellent food such as flax seed fiber (or any kind of fiber for that matter) can expand too much in one's system and interfere with absorption. 9. BE CAREFUL WHITH SOY AND RELATED SOY PRODUCTS: Be conservative with soy beans, soy milk, and other soy products except maybe fermented soy products such as miso and natto. Goitogens in soy products can have a negative effect on one's level of energy. Protease inihibitors in soy products can have a negative affect one's digestion further contributing to fatigue and therefore possibly making depression worse. If chronic fatique is a problem, it is best to avoid too much soy (eliminating it altogether is in most cases not necessary and not even practical) and watch one's level of protein intake. Best to supplement soy milk with large amounts of rice milk to so that it is balanced better. Combinations often work out far better than too much of any one food or drink. 10. FUNGUS, SLIME, MILDEW AND RANCIDITY: It is recommended by many leading raw foodists to soak and sprout all nuts and seed before consuming them in order to increase their enzyme content, reduce their protease content (known to inhibit digestion - but also known to inhibit cancer) and to increase their alkalinity. One of the biggest problems I faced with the sprouting and soaking of wholegrains, nuts and seed for the above benefits, is the presence of fungus, slime and/or mildew regardless of how fresh the seed, and how carefully I soak and sprout them. Especially store bought packages of sprouted seed such as sprouted broccoli (which I would othewise HIGHLY recommend) seem to be full of this stuff. I don't know about otherwise healthy people, but for those suffering from candida sensitivity, mold sensitivity, environmental allergies, diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome, NEVER sprout, soak or store your raw food for long periods of time. Be sure to refrigerate all fruits, vegetables, wholegrains, nuts and seed. Keep all ground nuts and seed, bee pollen and other food supplements frozen (to also help prevent or slow down rancidity of the exposed oils in groud nuts and seed). Check for mold and WASH THOUROUGHLY all vegetables and fruit before consuming. I use water from the positively charged side of the water ionizer to help wash of and kill off any unfriendly microorganisms, mold, mildew, etc. that might be on them. However, this does NOT remove toxins and/or allergins already present on or inside the vegetables left by whatever had been on them. For those with food sensitivities, sensitivity to candida, fungus, etc., all the consequences of poor digestion remains a problem until they remove whatever source of mold, slime, mildew, etc. that might be present in their food. 11. POOR DIGESTION=POOR HEALTH! THERE IS NO WAY AROUND THIS FACT: While digestion is poor, all the nutrients, superfoods, etc. in the world cannot be of much benefit. They would simply go right through and leave one drained, depressed and/or anxious as ever. So much digestive energy, enzymes, fluids, minerals, etc. is lost when diarrhea occurs, that it is imperative to try to prevent it from happening in the first place. However, diarrhea is a natural cleansing reaction that MUST occur when there is an emergency overrun of toxic substances and/or chemical imbalances in the digestive area that would otherwise swamp the bloodstream, kidneys, liver and other vital organs with very harmful toxins. To stop diarrhea with an artifical medication could be a great way to get a terrible headache. Various causes of diarrhea and/or loose stools could be too many unfriendly or toxic microorganisms, too much of one food supplement over another, old vegetables, fruit, soaked seed or sprouts that have gone musty and/or moldy, too much of a certain kind of spice or herb not suited to one's constitution and possibly certain immune responses to whatever the immune system might think is an invader. If the diarrhea is continuous and never stops, then a very real and serious possiblity that one must consider is intestinal parasites, especially if one recently drank from an unusual place such as a brook, stream, pond, well, or natural waterfall. Drinking directly from natural water sources, however seemingly safe or innocent, can have unexpected consequences! Until the cause of the diarrhea is cleared up, even if it is only intermittent, one most likely would remain listless, tired and miserable with poor libido. Unhealthy, unfriendly organisms in one's gut is often a major part of the problem. By the end of the day, I was completely exhausted just from trying to digest my food! It really felt like I was trying to digest a brick, and believe me, that alone was a full-time job and rarely had any energy left over for anything else! I would never gain any weight, was always rediculously skinny, anemic, pale, tired and broke! Just to not look and feel emaciated, I had to regularly force down my food! What I do is fast on large quantities of water between whole, mostly raw, complete, widely separated meals. I would drink plenty of negatively ionized water instead of snacking! This practice is so much better to do than to constantly stuff oneself up with junk food all the time. One feels FAR better off (at least I sure do!) cleansing oneself out between meals with several quarts daily of electrolyte balanced, negatively ionized (alkalized) water rather than continously stuffing oneself with more and more potentially toxic substances that could age one quite rapidly. Regular mineral water won't work as well but it's better than nothing. Drinking too much purified water and/or distilled water can lead to electrolyte imbalances and loss of tooth and bone minerals - no good! This material presents alternative dental research. It is far, far better to drink large quantities of Negatively charged (alkalized) drinking water than to snack on carbohydrates or drink coffee, homogenized milk, soda pop (extremely acidic and a major cause of tooth loss and osteoporosis), or some other commercial beverage. The negative charge of ionized water helps to neutralize toxins (free-radicals), the alkaline pH helps to protect the teeth from acidic food residues, while the extra hydrating ability of this wonderful "drink" helps to satisfy false hunger and cravings, while calming the mind with its negatively charged calcium ions. I could go all day drinking negatively ionized water, but not last as long on regular water. Most people are very dehydrated and don't know it, yet need to make sure that the water they drink contains the correct electrolyte balance (calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium). Hence, the vital importance of dinking only negatively ionized (alkalized) water. It is hard to imagine a better source of nourishing energy than alkaline, living raw food for the immensely complex and vast dynamic systems that we are. Find Your Highest Joy - Suffering seems to come in as many forms as there are people. It seems that everyone has found their own ingenious way to suffer, and suffering is definitely a most congruent and defining part of humanity. Suffering is what makes, creates or defines the individual, or what makes the person. If there was no suffering, life would be like the sculptor without the chisel, no face could be rendered clearly, nor one's individuality could ever be well-defined! Do not be alarmed that suffering is such a defining part of humanity and such a seemingly impossible thing to avoid. We suffer to learn from our mistakes and improve our self-worth. Suffering is part of a feed-back mechanism to keep us motivated... A complete, mostly alkaline, natural, raw food regimen high in raw proteins (chlorella, bee pollen, fresh flax seed oil, cooked eggs, tempeh or natto), enzymes, greens, and essential fatty acids from fresh flax seed, could be most effective in helping provide essential material for healing nervous problems and stabilizing blood sugar levels well enough to be free of the need and/or urge to snack. Also it is important to realize that even some of the "healthiest" foods such as dried fruit, raw wild honey, energy bars, concentrated fruit juices, etc. can act in very negative ways because of their concentrated sugar content which stimulate appetite and more food cravings while protein has the effect of controling appetite and calming down nerves. However, like I said before, too much protein and associated nutrients can lead to tiredness and depression. Raw vegetable juices from tomatoes, squash, cucumber, beet, ginger, etc. is a wonderful tonic. Use apples and/or dark purple grapes rather than died fruit. Even though dates and bananas are natural, I have found them quite useless; I have been seriously waylaid by their high sugar content, leading to dizziness, confusion and vertigo, especially when combined with salad greens. They are high in calories in the worse way. 14. WHY I HAVE MAINLY VEGETABLE PROTEINS: Animal proteins, especially cheese and sometimes eggs can produce "sensitivity" reactions in some people even though they would otherwise benefit from the complete, rich animal sources of protein, lecithin, cholesterol, choline and B-complex from eggs, and the calcium, riboflavan, and proteins from cheese. One has to find a way around these problems, somehow, most likely by using plenty of healing superfoods in one's diet on a regular basis instead of cheese, such as chlorella, spiralina, wheat grass juice, flax oil, nuts, seed, oats, rice and legumes, etc. If one gets confused, simply remember the most important health wisdom of all, and then one rarely can go wrong with this rule: never have too much of any one thing, eat simple meals yet include as much variety of complementary whole foods as possible in diet. Plant source proteins tend to calm one down and reduce or eliminate sensitivity reactions one might have to certain animal protein foods. I never promote, nor wish to use red meat such as ham, lamb and beef. Even chicken, turkey and fish are off my menu, each having caused me various problems. Besides the hormones, antibiotics, heavy metals and other toxins often present in these items, there is also a biochemical and negative karmic effect. All the hormones and biochemicals of stress, dread, fear and horror of being mutilated and killed is permanently imprinted into the "dead flesh" of the victim that was killed. Quite often I would pick up on this dread and fear for many hours after eating ground turkey or other meat. A dead animal is one of the LEAST palatable things I could imagine anyway. Fruit, algea, nuts, seed, grains, legumes, bee pollen, eggs and cheese are not living creatures and no suffering watsoever comes to them when they are harvested and eaten. Living plants are "conscious" in their own way too, but not nearly so much as animals and humans. Plants deserve respect too, especially plants and trees, because they provide everything we need to survive, even the oxygen we breathe! For those too used to eating large quantities of read meat, cheese and milk, etc. you can get high quality complete protein every day from combining a wide variety of healing vegetable sources such as: BEE POLLEN, CULTURED MILK or YOGURT (provides vital living friendly bacteria and a satisfying and balancing source of complete protein) and/ or SPIRALINA, CHLORELLA, etc. Other important foods to include every day: ground UNHULLED SESAME SEED, PUMPKIN SEED, SUNFLOWER SEED, PEANUTS, PECANS, ALMONDS, RAW OATS, FLAX SEED, TEMPEH, TOFU, AND RAW WHEAT GERM. I must make it clear, that it is imperative that one has on a daily basis, EQUAL AMOUNTS of most of the above sources of vegetarian protein, otherwise one would not get the optimal nutritional support needed for healing to take place and would suffer from cravings for quicker and easier sources of protein such as dairy products, hamburgers, omelettes, etc. Any single vegetarian source of protein is incomplete. This means that if one has a disproportionately large amount of, say almonds, for instance, there would develop inside the body cravings for other proteins not supplied by the almonds. This imbalance could lead to overeating, toxicity and moderate to overwhelming fatigue! The KEY to comfortably staying on a raw food, vegetarian protein diet (free of all the problems and complications often associated with eggs, milk, cheese, chicken, fish and meat) is in making sure one includes a very broad spectrum of all nuts, seed, legumes and wholegrains all combined in one meal and never too much on any one item. This one fact alone could be the key to a whole lifetime of trouble-free eating. That could mean no more fatigue, no more anxiety, no more depression and much better health in general. In the mideastern countries sesame seed was considered a very sacred food by the Sufis. I would make UNHULLED RAW SESAME SEED my staple food for wholeness. If it is hulled, 90% of what would be an excellent source of calcium is lost and it would no longer be an alkaline food. Most of the best healthfood stores provide organic UNHULLED RAW SESAME SEED in bulk quantities. I use my Vita-Mixer to grind them up into a very thick butter. Grind up no more than two cups at a time, otherwise it would start to overlaod the Vita-Mixer. If mixed with an equal amount of raw oats, it becomes much easier to grind. EGGS, ARE THEY EXCEPTIONAL OR TERRIBLE?: Eggs seem to get more undeserved scorn than any food I have ever known. First there was the big cholesterol scare which turned out to be completely false. Then there is the salmonella scare for those who might eat them partially cooked or raw. And now we have this "avian flu" coming from China and other overseas locations. Oh well, what can one do? Then if as that were not enough, many eastern religions have always condemned eggs for making one too animalistic to be of much good(?) Theoretically, eating eggs as long as they are fresh and come from the right source (from organically raised, healthy, happy, vegetarian, range free hens) should be of great benefit. The lecithin, choline, cholesterol, l-cysteine, etc. provide the ultimate building material for new cells and for healing damaged ones, sexual hormones, neuroinsulators and neurotransmitters. They are among the best "brain foods" one can eat. Eggs are youthful, rejuvenating, and all renewing. They are the best all around complete perfect whole food anyone can eat, and no animal or breathng, living creature is harmed or killed like one would have to do to get meat. I don't always eat them, but have found them to be a perfect source of protein without having to eat meat. HYPERALLERGIC CAUTION: In some people, eggs can cause allergic reactions. Depending on whether this is an actual allergy (rare) or just a sensitivity (common), there are ways to get around this problem. Make sure they are not cracked and from range free healthy, happy hens only! Eggs are GREAT blended with raw pineapple, fresh orange juice and/or kefir. THE VIRTUES OF ORGANIC RAW VEGETABLES AND FRUIT: Most raw vegetables are the ideal food for alkalinity, fiber, enzymes, vitamins and living minerals. They are balancing and nourishing, low in sugar, high in nutrition and cleansing enzymes and water. Have a generous amount of these healing foods every single day. Never skip a day without them unless you are not serious about healing yourself. They are the most balancing and nourishing healing foods on the planet. Some of the best ones are: FENNEL, LETTUCE, BEETS, BROCCOLI SPROUTS, BROCCOLI HEADS, CAULIFLOWER, FRESH GINGER RIZOME (ROOT), TOMATOES, RED CABBAGE, RED LETTUCE, RED ONIONS, YAMS, YELLOW SQUASH, & ZUCCHINI. One needs to be careful how much fat, protein and sugars one eats, but most vegetables tend to be very low in all of the above and help to balance out and/or combat any ill effects of eating too much fat, protein, sugar, etc. Every single day be sure also to have a HUGE supply of high water content (juicy) organic fruit available, such as PAPAYA, APPLES, TANGERINES, DARK RED GRAPES, BLACKBERRIES, AND BLUEBERRIES. The main benefits from a raw food diet come from eating such a large amount of all these items. They are delicious, satisfying, very cleansing, rich in enzymes, fiber, and, of course, very healthy. Be sure to have these fruit in abundance, as this is what nature intended. Use and create huge quantities of juice from various combinations of the above fruits and vegetables with a Vita-Mixer. Most fruit juice goes great with some fennel, lettuce, broccoli sprouts, and fresh ginger blended in. Be sure only to create the amount you need and drink right away. Less biologically active food would also tend to replace the more vital, biologically active, more healing, hydrating and rejuvenating components of my diet. 17. JALAPENO PEPPERS ARE BENEFICIAL: Cayenne or jalape–o peppers (warning: HOT! and unfortunately they can vary considerably in heat production!) and ginger root contain many specific substances with all kinds of healing benefits, including the promotion of circulation, relaxation, and capillary integrity/strength. In my experience, these simple vegertables have been a key part of the process of healing anxiety and preventing future pannic attacks. When used in conjuction with all the other items listed on this page, the healing power of beneficial substances found in both cayenne and ginger provides a healthy foundation for recovery from both anxiety and depression. There are also many emergency uses for cayenne pepper. 18. WHY SHOULD ONE AVOID TABLE SALT? Straight sodium chloride is a chemical with drug-like effects! SEA SALT would be much, much better, but even too much of that (which is still often much more than 95% sodium chloride) can cause some problems such as nervous tension in sensitive individuals. A small, occasional amount of sea salt could be beneficial. However, it is far better to use KELP which tends to contain a much broader balance of all the other trace minerals including iodine in proportions that do not disrupt sensitive nervous systems. This is an example of why it is so important to avoid too much of any isolated chemical which could interfere with the delicate balance of other substances in cellular tissues. Straight salt, sugar, alcohol, chemicals, drugs, etc. are all the enemies of wholeness. Too much of any single element of life when isolated and concentrated can act as a lethal poison! INTORDUCING MICROHYDRIN: As you know, drinking plenty of water between meals up to a half-hour before every meal and no sooner than 2.5 hours after a meal, helps one's overall health and digestion immensly. For even greater benefit, drink your ionized water with Mricrohydrin, (ALWAYS MIX WITH PLENTY OF WATER) which is my favorite antioxidant. Like most antioxidants, Microhydrin tends to increase my sense of well-being, improve my circulation (by giving every blood cell a negative electric charge), and support my energy levels. Microhydrin is the most concentrated source of antioxidant activity that I know of. It potentiates the activity of all other herbs, drugs and vitamins, so it is advisable not too take too much of any other supplement while taking microhydrin. The positive effects of Microhydrin are quite similar to the principle of the antioxdant rich, negatively charged ionized water that can deliver the same kind of antioxidant activity as Microhydrin. As I mentioned previously, a major part of anxiety, fatigue and depression is dependent on an over-acidic condition caused by the pH (power of hydrogen) being too low. Microhydrin can alleviate this problem in a similar way to the water that comes from a device such as a "countertop water ionizer." Unlimited quantities of free-radical scavenging electrons can be had from negatively charged ionized water, while Microhydrin provides a much more concentrated (compact) source. EXERCISE, BLOOD CIRCULATION AND ORAL CHELATION THERAPY: There seems no end to what one can do to make one's self more and more whole and free of stress, emotional and physical pain, etc. Regular excercise in the form of your favorite activity be it swimming, long walks, running, jumprope, tennis, etc. is just as essential as everything else. I need not go into all the widely published/known benefits of excercise and how important cardio and cerebral vascular health is! With those over 40, and/or have a medical condition and those suffering from anxiety and/or depression, please start very slowly and with caution. It is advisable to work with a physician in severe cases, however, some of the best breakthroughs into higher levels of health and wholeness can occur almost overnight after starting a regular excercise regimen. In addition to the above, there is oral chelation available. METABOLIC RESPONSE MODIFIERS (free advertising for them!-I wish I were their affilate) created a product called "Cardio Chelate with EDTA". EDTA (ethylene diamine tetracetic acid) was approved in 1948 by the FDA for an intravenous chelation therapy to remove heavy metals from human subjects. It is also thought to remove calcium and other plague building matter in the veins, capillaries, and arteries. Years of toxins, poisons and free-radical damage build up in the arteries, making them less and less flexible and more and more clogged. I believe anxiety, confusion and depression can be some of the symptoms of irregular or improper blood flow in the fine capillaries of the cerebral vascular system. Irregular heartbeat can also be an indicator of the same problem. Intravenous chelation would create even more rapid and drastic changes. As with anything, follow directions on bottle, and take a full spectrum mineral supplement with meals when doing any kind of chelation therapy. Natto is another food known to improve circulation by providing enzymes that disolve blood clots already formed while preventing new ones from taking place. Natto is a Japanese product consisting of fermented soybeans that has a cheesy ordor and a very unique taste. I would always use whatever is available to keep all my capillaries as clear as possible. Wholeness is not possible with a clogged or damaged circulatiory system! The complexions of the rare and few saints, genuine masters of yoga, etc. that do exist are often extraordinarily vibrant, as if there were no obstructions whatsoever in their capillaries. Whatever blocks blood circulation also blocks joy and transmutaion. The purpose of this book is to make others aware of the fact that inedia is possible, but not necessarily as a means to become a breatharian "living on light" yourself. The popular idea that breatharians simply "live on air" or even worse, "live on nothing" is misleading. Successful breatharianism which is really quite rare is the result of training the energies of the astral body and cells of the physical body over many, many years (or lifetimes?) to obtain nourishment directly from quantum energy. At the subatomic level, energy can never be used up, and if it is somehow lost, it is immediately replaced by more quantum energy. Be careful how much is taken, or they can be toxic in large amounts, resulting in the very symptoms one is trying to control in the first place. CONCLUDING COMMENTS: An excellent water ionizer could be very helpful and a Vitamixer, nut grinder or very strong blender are essential and useful tools for increasing the variety of raw foods you can enjoy and the number of recipies you can create. Reguar exercise, ionized water, antioxidants, and a 100% raw food diet are the most vital "cornerstones" of the antianxiety, all-healing, "wholeness" foundation. With regular exercise, ionized water, antioxidants, and eating mainly raw food, you can get as much cleansing and antioxidant activity as you can possibly need. Avoid doing or eating too much of anything. Have as much variety of healthy food and activity as possible. Along with deep meditation, diet, yoga values & lifestyle, my faith in God, rechanneling sexual energy into lasting bliss, love and joy, have all been very beneficial to me personally and very effective angainst anxiety and other unhealthy extremes of emotional suffering. Every day should be an equal balance of work, rest, and exercise (recreational). Too much of anything can bring on anxiety and even depression.
