Francisco Candido Chico Xavier - One of the Greatest Mediums of the 20th Century
Many years ago, I discovered another utterly brilliant and very honest source of afterlife information. The Brazilian medium Francisco C. Xavier, considered to be the most prolific mediums of all time and one of the greatest ever, was born in Pedro Leopoldo, Minas Gerais, Brazil, on April 2, 1910. Learn more about Francisco C. Why do I have so much faith in Francisco Xavier? Because his work most closely resembles the information presented in the recorded messages through the British direct voice medium, Leslie Flint, yet was in a completely different country, language and culture. Nosso Lar The Messengers And Life Goes On
The afterlife is a very difficult and challenging subject to study, understand and then write about. There are six major obstacles when trying to study and then write about the afterlife:
1) Far too much apathy or lack of interest in such a VITAL topic as the afterlife.
2) Scientific materialistic skepticism, professional stupidity, and closed-mindedness.
3) Religious closed-mindedness, bigotry, devil phobia, and dogmatism.
4) Those who don't want to know because they are afraid of the truth.
5) Malicious entities who ignored their spiritual needs and want to harm others or create other havoc.
6) The actual natural cosmic barrier that exists between this world (baryonic matter) and the higher spheres (dark matter).
Nosso Lar is an outpost on the lower edges of the astral plane established as a series of hospitals and universities to serve and educate newly arrived souls and to assist souls returning to Earth. Nosso Lar is a colony on the lower astral plane right outside the "lower zone" which is incredibly Earth-like. This "town" is connected with many facilities and utilities very similar to those of towns on Earth. They have a massive reservoir and use plumbing, TVs, radios, and even vehicles to get around. At first, I thought this to be very strange that dead people would still use, need, and even have such things!
Like Nosso Lar, The Messengers is about service and many soul's struggles for emancipation. Many souls are educated and trained before reincarnating to become mediums or "messengers" with the intent to try in any way they can to remember and bring knowledge back to Earth regarding the things of the spirit and to act as mediums or messengers for other souls still in the spirit dimensions. This book is largely about the mistakes they made, the temptations of the flesh, and pitfalls of materialism they fell into, and their struggles for redemption.
Believe it or not, many of the spirits nearest the Earth vibration still have a need to eat and drink! This fact is due to an overall condition of mind; an effect that provides both the need and the means to fulfill it. Spirits do eventually and quite easily learn how to outgrow this need, especially as they become more advanced.
If not ordinary food, the residents of the afterlife drink astral water, eat fruit, and often a kind of soup or broth. Classes or lectures are given on how to gain nourishment from spiritual energies (prana) rather than encouraging dependency on food because it often has to be grown in fields and prepared the same way as on Earth! This situation does not apply so much to higher spheres but is very true at Nasso Lar because it is so close to the EarthÕs vibration. Those planning to reincarnate often live in the most Earthlike regions of the astral planes such as places like Nosso Lar to help prepare themselves for their next incarnation.

The fields of even the astral planes nearest to Earth are abundant with natural scenery including flowers, grass, plants and animals, and everything else one would expect to find in a very beautiful paradise. Birds of all kinds dominate the sky. Massive trees are filled with birds that fly and sing exactly the way they do on Earth. There are mountains, lakes, rivers, and mists and on the spheres nearest to Earth where the sun can still be seen, one can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The sun looks and feels different than the way it does on Earth. There are aromatic breezes, night and day, and humans speak normally as they would on Earth, except that thoughts and intentions can be felt, seen, or even heard with a little practice.
